Parking
There is 1 ADA accessible and 4 regular marked parking spaces in the paved parking lot next to the Museum and 18 spaces for parking in graveled areas alongside the driveway, with overflow outside the gate. If you are arriving in a bus or large RV vehicle, we suggest you park in the southern area of parking next to the public Runway Observation area.
Accessibility

The museum is fully accessible with wide aisles and offers an accessible restroom.
In the hangar, there are accessible bathrooms and a lift to the second floor airport field observation area.
Lunch Next Door – Reno’s on the Runway
Located adjacent to McAllister Museum of Aviation is the Reno’s on the Runway restaurant, accessible from the parking lot as you drive into the Museum.
Groups often combine a visit to the Museum with a meal at Reno’s before or after, enjoying their 50-foot outdoor bar and its unobstructed view of the runway. If you’re in a hurry, they feature a selection of grab-n-go sandwiches and meals as well. The restaurant is run by a long-time Yakima caterer and focuses on healthy, delicious dishes.
If you’ve got a large group, contact them ahead of time to make sure they are open (due to COVID restrictions) and can accommodate your group.
