Summer Airplanes
Join us on Saturday, July 28 for the fourth aircraft in our summer program. This week's airplane is a Cessna 182 owned by National Civil Air Patrol and currently based with the Yakima Composite Squadron of Civil Air Patrol.
Ever wondered what Civil Air Patrol (or CAP) is and does? Come in for this event and learn about CAP's role in search and rescue. Find out about their cadet programs (open to young adults, male and female, ages 12-21). But Civil Air Patrol isn't just for young adults--adults ages 22 and up can also join CAP. Come out this Saturday and find out more about this long running (since 1941) public service organization. Presentation begins promptly at 10 am.
